This year on Sunday, January 27.
Tu B'shvat is a holiday that marks the "New Year for the Trees." Join us for a unique Tu B'shvat seder to celebrate our love of trees, with an emphasis on environmental concerns, food justice, and the tangled roles of trees in the Middle East. Readings, songs, and poems will reflect the origins of the seder adapted to progressive secular Jewish life in the 21st century.
Ritual fruits, nuts, and drinks provided. Bring vegan hors d'oeuvres to share (please, no animal products, including eggs and dairy). RSVP by emailing the office or calling (617-566-6281).
Suggested $5 donation per person to cover food costs. Links to recordings of the songs are below.
