"Judaism has never been solely a religion to me. It’s a people, a culture, and a religion, kind of like a state of being. It helps me locate myself in the world."
Community Shabes dinners are informal gatherings in the warmth of community member homes. Join us to take a breath at the end of the week and share good food and conversation with family and friends.
Some shabes dinners are just for folks in their 20's and 30's, while others are intergenerational. The dinners sometimes feature discussion topics, speakers or movies. We hope you will join us whenever a topic piques your interest, or when the location is most convenient!
Please bring a dish to share when you join us for Shabes. No time to cook? Many of us bring takeout! We’ll provide the wine, juice, and challah.
Stay tuned for the next Shabes dinner!
