BWC Membership 2019-2020

Building on our 100+ year history, our members are leading the charge to deepen our secular spiritual community, create and celebrate arts and education, and fight for justice. And it’s working!

This past year was our largest program year on record. We surpassed 600 dues-paying members, and in the next month we will move to our new accessible home at 6 Webster Street
in Coolidge Corner, Brookline!

  • Your membership makes our work possible: from our cultural work programs like A Besere Velt Yiddish Chorus, to our Sunday School and teen programs, to secular High Holidays and Passover rituals, to supporting our social justice campaigns.
  • Your membership gives you a voice in the organization: attend members-only forums, join committees to determine the projects and initiatives we take on, vote for board members and share your ideas about major community and organizational decisions at annual membership meetings.
  • Your membership gives you discounts on programming, holidays, and classes.
  • Your membership connects you to a community of secular progressive Jews who work together to preserve our cultural traditions, to take care of each other and to stand up for justice.

Whether you show up once a year for High Holidays,
once a month for programs, every week to offer leadership,
or you are supporting our work from afar, this is your organization and we depend on counting you as a member.
