“The Workmen's Circle is my Jewish community because it allows me to express all the different aspects of my Jewish identity in one place. It’s where I act for change while being part of a larger, inter-generational community.”
Greetings, Boston Workmen's Circle Community,
“I’m here” – I made it safely from South Ontario to Eastern Massachusetts, and have begun the transition to my new role as your Campaign Director. I look forward to taking the reins of the Boston Workmen’s Circle building campaign.
It is indeed an exciting opportunity for me to be an integral part of this fundraising endeavor for your cultural, progressive Jewish home. I found exactly what I’ve been looking for.
As a fundraising professional for more than 15 years, I have enjoyed success in leading capital and annual campaigns in the United States and Canada.
Along with experience, I bring my knowledge of best practices, and of proven methodologies from both large institutions to grassroots community efforts – I’ve run the gamut on campaigns and fundraising projects.
From what I’ve observed – I visited last Fall, attended a Shabes dinner, had one-on-ones with several volunteer leaders, and have read reams of background information – the next phase of the Building Campaign is primed for implementation. And for success!
Cultivation. Solicitation. Stewardship. The cycle has begun. It shall continue with exuberance.
I’m certain we will, together, meet the challenge and reach our goal of an expanded and renovated building for Boston Workmens Circle. Together, we will win this campaign.
Come visit me in the office, or drop me a line at lhoover@circleboston.org.
