2012 Listening Campaign
We are building our community one conversation at a time, and we want to talk to you!
The board of the Boston Workmen’s Circle recently launched our 2012 Listening Campaign, consisting of over 100 one-on-one conversations with members and active participants. One-on-one meetings, also known as relational or intentional meetings, are a core grassroots organizing tool used by community groups, unions, and congregations to deepen and build their organizations. A major initiative in 2012, our Listening Campaign will help to build stronger relationships in the community, identify members’ needs and interests, and increase participation and leadership.
We invite you to meet a board member for a good conversation over a cup of coffee or at any time that is convenient for you! We're also reaching out to people who have been long time members of the community, so don’t be surprised if someone contacts you.
